Heard the News?

We are a church tired of "church as usual" and eagerly welcome the presence of our God that we might be a bright light in a dark world.  We invite you to join us in the embrace of the full gospel, and the exciting journey of walking with the Lord of Hosts.

Beyond our love for Jesus and the Bible, we have a love for others that drives us to interact with the community about us.  At the end of January, we will be putting on our second annual Winter Classic Junior Stock Show at the fairgrounds in Paris, Texas.  Last year we had approximately 250 exhibitors and 550 people show up for the event.  If you know someone who has a show animal, have them give us a call.

The items below reflect additional  aspects of our ministry hear at Cross Branch Cowboy Church.  Come visit!  Come be a part!  Grow with us.

 Arena Team

Horsemanship, Penning, Ropin' and Rough Stock Events

We are currently in the process of establishing an arena next to our church building on Hwy 24, just south of Pairs.  An arena is not simply so we can have fun... though there's nothing wrong with having fun.  It is our opportunity to provide a service to the community, and make new friends!

For more information regarding arena events contact Chad Calvin.

Camps, AI Clinics,

Junior Livestock Shows,

and More!

CBCC is a great place to learn how to improve your livelihood if you're a cattleman.  We will teach you how to artificially inseminate your cows so that you can benefit from some of the nation's best herd sires.  We'll even help you obtain semen and embryos for far less money than others can provide it.  Our next AI clinic is slated for the fall of 2020.

Beginning in 2021, we will also be offering great opportunities for young folks to learn & practice showmanship skills and livestock judging.  Contact us for more information.

 Shooting Team

Gun & Hunter's Safety, and

In today's society we often hear of active shooters, and we sometimes hear of tragic accidental deaths as a result of improper safety precautions.  The Shooting Team is in place to provide training in safety, improve marksmanship, and more!

The Shooting Team also sponsors concealed carry classes.  Here's your chance to take the course, and qualify at the range.  Ask about our next class.

We also hope to develop a competition shooting team that will represent CBCC in this region.  Contact Archie Flanery or Andy Woodard for more info.

 Bible Team

Eatin' - Visitin' - Studyin'

Bible Studies are currently scheduled for every Wednesday at 7 pm..

The 2nd and 4th Wednesday Bible Study services of each month include a potluck meal @ 6:30, and plenty of  visitin' along the way!

Studies tend to be based on a  theme / topic, and are often verse-by-verse studies of a book in the Bible.  Have you ever wondered where something was found in the Bible, or how folks seem to remember God's word so well?  This will help you.

Quilting Team

The CBCC Quilting Team meets monthly, and provides an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in learning the skills and techniques of quilting.

The quilting projects often serve to meet the needs of others.  We recently provided beautiful new quilts for residents of the bunkhouse at New Life Roadrunner Ranch Ministries.  Want in?  Contact Candy Garza or Bev Couch.

Men's & Women's Teams

Both, men and women, are encouraged to take part in special activities and meetings.  It's a time to learn, build friendships, and enjoy life.

Get involved!  There's room for everyone.  Ask Pastor Tim for more information.
